Subscriptions

Pick a coffee, a bag size, and a schedule — we roast it fresh in Philadelphia and ship it so a new bag lands right as you finish the last one. Every subscription order ships free, and you can skip, pause, swap coffees, or cancel anytime from your account. Browse subscriptions →

Shipping & orders

Coffee usually ships within 1 business day of roasting. You'll get tracking by email the moment the label prints.

Subscriptions always ship free. One-time orders ship free over $50; under that, rates are calculated at checkout.

Anywhere in the US. If you're local, you can also just come say hi at any of our six Philadelphia cafés.

Reach out via the contact page with your order number and we'll make it right. Unworn merch can be exchanged (see our returns page), and we'll never leave you stuck with a coffee problem we caused.

Coffee & brewing

Roasted in Philadelphia and usually shipped within 1 business day. Whole bean stays at its best for several weeks after roast — we print the roast date on every bag.

Whole Bean, Drip Grind, Pour Over Grind, and Coarse Grind on every coffee. If you're not sure, whole bean plus a burr grinder is the single biggest upgrade in home coffee.

Rule of thumb: about 20g per daily cup. Two cups a day goes through a 1lb bag every two weeks — the plan finder on any coffee page does this math for you.

Desvelado is decaffeinated via the sugar cane process, which preserves the sweetness and acidity — it's one of the best coffees we've tasted, caffeine or not.

We keep an interactive brewing guide with ratios, step-by-step instructions, and a brew timer right here on the site — every bag links to it with a QR code.

Some of our coffees are certified organic or fair trade, but we don't buy for the certification and don't market them that way. All of our coffees are bought at fixed prices above the market — almost always higher than the Fair Trade Certified price. Our sourcing is about quality and flavor, from producers and importers we trust.

Cafés, bulk & wholesale

Six across Philadelphia: Fishtown, South Kensington (the roastery), South Philly, West Philly, Port Richmond, and Mt. Airy. Addresses and hours are on the locations page.

Yes — 2lb and 5lb bags on standing schedules for offices and heavy-brewing households, up to ~25% cheaper per cup. See the bulk page →

Both. We roast for cafés, restaurants, and brands — including private label with your own packaging. Start with the wholesale page and we'll take it from there.
